Jean-François Martins

38 years old, graduated in Management of the Social and Solidarity Economy at the University of Marne La Vallée, Jean-François Martins has led a career as a communications consultant in an international environment while committing to Parisians.

Elected Councilor of Paris in 2010, he was from 2014 to 2020 Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of Tourism, Sport and the Olympic and Paralympic Games. There, alongside Anne Hidalgo, he led the victorious campaign to obtain the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024. He coordinated major sporting events such as Euro 2016, already closely linked to the Eiffel Tower and its operating company.

In charge of tourism for the past 6 years, he has led the recovery plans for Paris destination and the recapture of tourists after the 2015 attacks and the yellow vests crisis.

He was re-elected Councilor of Paris in July 2020 and is Chairman of the Eiffel Tower Operating company since september 2020.
