What is Global Sports Week Paris?

Global Sports Week Paris is an annual international forum that brings together leaders and disruptors from sport, business, culture, media, government and society. Its agenda is focused on the future of sport at the intersection of business and society.

GSWParis is known for its innovative formats and diverse audience, directly connecting global leaders of sport with athletes, grassroots actors, fans and emerging talents. 

In 2021, GSWParis will return  from February 1st - 5th 2021. It will boast a new, multi-country format, mixing physical and digital experiences, with events in six cities worldwide.

How can I register to the event? What is included in my pass?

What is the language of the event?

All the GSWArena sessions and most of the GSWVillage and GSWPro sessions will be held in English. Some sessions in the GSWVillage and in the GSWPro zones will be held in French, in which case the session is described in French on the programme.

What is the time zone of the event?

All times indicated on the platform are CET (Paris time).

Is it possible to follow Global Sports Week on my phone?

For an optimal user experience, we recommend following the event from a desktop or a tablet, however the stream can also be followed on a mobile phone.

When could I have access to GSWClub?

The GSWClub platform will be available in spring 2021 for all Classic and Pro ticket holders.

GSWClub is a membership-only platform with preferential access to original content, networking tools and other exclusive opportunities and benefits. A one-year membership for 2021 is included in the purchase of Classic and Pro tickets.


Where can I find the programme?

The full programme is available on the Programme page here. Once you enter a zone (GSWArena, GSWPro or GSWVillage), you can also find a reminder of the respective zone's programme in the agenda section.

You can also check the programme in your personal area in the section Schedule.

Which time zone is indicated in the programme?

All times indicated on the platform are CET (Paris time).

Can I add a session on my agenda?

You can add any session in your favourites in your personal area. Please go to My Profile > click on "Manage" in "My next event" area > Schedule.

Two sessions I'm interested in are programmed at the same time. How can I choose?

No sessions will be scheduled at parallel times within one zone. However it can happen, for instance, that there is an interesting session happening in GSWVillage while there is also something amazing going on in GSWArena. Hard to choose! But don't worry - all the content will be available on-demand once it is gone live. If you miss a live session, go to our content-on-demand library to watch it! If two sessions you are interested in are scheduled at the same time, we recommend you to opt for the one that you want the most to interact with in live mode.

How long will the sessions be available on replay?

All the sessions will be available on replay until the end of February for the holders of the Classic and Pro tickets. For the holders of the Taster tickets session replays from the Village will only be available until Sunday, February 7th.

I'm watching Global Sports Week with a Taster ticket, but there are so many more interesting things I would like to access. Until what date can I buy an upgrade to Classic or Pro ticket and can I do it after Global Sports Week is finished?

You can buy an upgrade during the event and a upgrade will be available until the end of February.

Are all sessions available without prior registration? If not, how can I register?

Most of the sessions are available without prior registration to all ticket holders, however the GSWVillage and GSWPro workshops require you to register in advance. The workshops are limited to 20 participants each to allow for the best possible interaction with the speaker(s). If you've already spotted a workshop that you would like to attend, we recommend you to register as quickly as possible as the places will be filling up quickly. You can do it directly on the Programme page.

How do I make sure I don't miss a key moment of Global Sports Week?

What live formats are available on the platform? What are the differences between them?

Various live formats with an integrated chat function will be available on each "channel" (GSWArena, GSWVillage and GSWPro Zone) - access to each channel depends on your type of ticket.

All the live formats are available for an unlimited number of participants, except for the following:

  • Workshops

- Max. 20 participants (access upon prior registration only)
- Chat function
- Video function for speakers and participants

  • Virtual lounge - GSWPro Zone only

- Max. 20 participants (first-come-first-served basis)
- Chat function
- Video function for participants


How can I access the GSWArena Zone?

You can access GSWArena by clicking on "Arena Live" on the landing page. You must have a Classic or a Pro ticket to access GSWArena. If you have a Taster ticket and you want to access GSWArena, you can upgrade your ticket here.


How can I use the networking tool?

If you have a Classic or a Pro pass, you can contact any other participant via GSWConnect, our networking tool, unless they chose to make their profile private. You can choose to contact them via chat or request a face-to-face video meeting. Pay attention that all the available meeting slots are indicated in CET (Paris time).

Is my profile visible to all participants?

Your profile is visible to all Classic & Pro ticket holders. You can make it private, but in this case you will not be able to contact other participants or receive connection requests. If you still want to make your profile private, go to "My Account" > pen icon at the top right corner > "Profile Info" > then click on "private profile"

I have a Taster pass, can I contact other attendees?

Unfortunately, the Taster ticket doesn't allow you to contact other attendees. But you can be contacted by Classic or Pro ticket holders, so stay tuned! If you want to connect with other attendees you can upgrade your ticket here.

How does the matchmaking tool work?

The matchmaking tool recommend connections depending on the information you indicated in your profile: your areas of interest, type of organisations you are looking to connect with etc. Please make sure to fill in your profile to get the best recommendations!


How can I contact the exhibitors in the GSWMarketplace?

If you are a Classic or Pro ticket holder you can contact exhibitors by clicking on "Meet Now" at the Exhibitor's booth. You can also search the name of an Exhibitor you targeted by using GSWConnect.

If you are a Taster ticker holder, you aren't allowed to contact other participants - please feel free to upgrade your ticket here.

Technical ISSUES

I have a problem to access my account (I don't remember my password, my password doesn't work...)

Your login is the email you entered when you registered. If you have lost your password or if you don't remember it, you can reset it on this page.

I have a technical problem (e.g. the live doesn't start / the streaming does not work properly / the stream hangs (continuously) - what should I do?

The following steps may help:

- Change browser if necessary: we recommend the latest version of Google Chrome. Old versions or other browsers (especially Internet Explorer) may cause problems

- Reload page

- Clear cache (via browser settings)

- Reduce screen resolution (via computer settings)

The landing page is optimised for the desktop use. If you have difficulties to navigate on the main page of the event on your mobile, please try to connect from a desktop or a tablet.
